Jan. 28,2013 Birthday

This last week we've been busy.The tent and Tyson's was open and we did some shopping.Sam was able to find 3 vent covers to replace the old ones and I found a couple of shirts.We had a birthday party on Thursday for Sam and 2 others we know were also having a birthday so we made it a 3 in one party. Everyone brought food and I made a Carrot Cake.One of everyone's favorite.I also made Polar Bears and were they ever yummy.Vodka,Kahlua,vanilla ice cream,and crushed ice.These go down real smooth and everyone loves them.A good time was had by all.

Jan.17 2013 Quartzsite Happy Hour

All the people have converged in Quartzsite and it’s starting to getting busy.Yesterday and today the Escapees had their Annual Happy Hour.We got to see a lot of people we haven’t seen since last year.It was so nice to listen to music and renew friendships.Friday Tyson’s open and the Big Tent opens on Saturday.Oh it’s going to get crazy here.Our refrigerator went out and we went to Blythe to get a small refrig  to use until we can get ours fixed or get a new one.We’re sick of this Norcold.Time to start looking for a different RV.Photos of Happy Hour.

Jan. 12,2013 Quartzsite

Hello from Quartzsite.We got here on the first and staying till the end of the month.It’s been kind of quiet since we’ve been here but have been with friends in the park where we stay so have done a few things.The weather has been on the cool side and looking forward to it warming up next week.Lots of escapees friends will be coming this week so the fun will begin.Today we went to Parker to the swap meet and took our friends to the Desert Bar.They had never been there and enjoyed it.It sure has changed over the last 10 yrs. that we’ve going there.Lots more seating and more food.If you’ve never been to the Desert Bar in Parker it’s a must see if your ever in the area. Here’s some of the photos I took today.

Jan 2013 Happy New Year

Happy New Year!! I know it’s been awhile since I posted but it’s a new year and I’ll try and do better.We got back from Europe on Oct. 6th and it was catch up with family,friends and doctors.After all the doctors visit we went to our lot in Park Sierra and stayed there until the 12th of Dec. We also had time to visit our son in his new home in Oakley. We had a nice time seeing old friends and meeting new ones.When we left Park Sierra we went to San Diego to visit our daughter and Son-in-law.We hadn’t seen them in over a year and they had a new addition to their family.He is the most precious loveable French Bulldog I’ve eve seen.His name is Jonsee.We spent Christmas with Jill’s family and friends and had a great meal.We even had our traditional crackers where everyone was King and Queen for the day.

We went the next day to TT Palm Springs and stayed there until the 1st. Our friends were at another park so we spent New Year’s Eve with them at their park.We had a great time ringing in the new year. We are now in Quartzsite where we will stay until the 1st Feb. then head to Benson.Happy New Year!
