March 28,2008 Palm springs

We arrived in Thousand Trails about a week ago and have been busy. We've spent our time at the pool,going to the street fair,and just enjoying the park. Today they had a caravan to Box Canyon,Salton Sea, Mud Pots,Salvation Mt. and Slab City.The first stop was Box Canyon.Box Canyon is a colorful ravine in the Mecca Hills with interesting geology that sretches about 8 miles.
